Door scanning that works without Wi-Fi

Old forts and packed squares are hard on signal. Here’s how Eventixo Scanner keeps the line moving.

Some of the best venues in Malta have thick stone walls and no signal to speak of. That’s why Eventixo Scanner, our door app, is built to work offline.

Pair in seconds, no accounts

An organiser admin creates a pairing code in the backoffice. Staff scan its QR (or type the code), add their name and start scanning. The code decides which events, ticket types and entrance the device covers, its scanning hours, its offline rules and whether holder names show.

What happens when the signal drops

While online, the app keeps an encrypted copy of the ticket lists it’s allowed to scan. If the connection goes, scanning carries on against that copy. When the connection returns, scans sync automatically, and if the same ticket was let in on two devices in the meantime, the conflict is flagged for you.

Built for a busy queue

  • Camera or hardware scanner
  • Sounds and haptics for every result; refusals stay on screen
  • Lookup, group admission and supervisor override

Lost a device? Revoke it from the backoffice and its stored data is wiped. More about the scanner app.
