Buying tickets

Who am I buying tickets from?

From the event’s organiser, they are the seller and run the event. Eventixo provides the ticketing platform they use. The organiser’s name and contact details are on the event page, at checkout and on your order.

What is the booking fee?

The booking fee covers the cost of selling and delivering your tickets. It’s always included in the price you see, together with VAT, from the very first time a price appears. The breakdown is shown before you pay and on your receipt.

How does the waiting room work?

Busy on-sales use a waiting room so everyone gets a fair chance. You can join up to an hour before tickets go on sale. When sales open, everyone already waiting gets a random place in line, so there’s no advantage to arriving first or refreshing.

When it’s your turn, you have 10 minutes to choose your tickets. Keep the page open; we’ll move you along automatically.

Can I pick my seat?

Yes, on seated events. Choose your exact seats on the seat map, or use “Choose from a list” to see every available seat with its section, row, price and step-free access. “Best available” picks the best seats together for you.

How do I pay, and is it secure?

Payments are taken by Viva Wallet or Stripe, straight into the organiser’s account. You pay on their secure pages, neither Eventixo nor the organiser ever sees your card details.

Do I need an account to buy tickets?

No. You can check out with just your name and email. An account is handy, though: all your tickets and orders are in one place.

Your tickets

Where are my tickets?

Your tickets are emailed to you as soon as your order is confirmed. If you have an account, they’re also under My tickets.

Bought without an account? Use Find my tickets with the email address you used at checkout and we’ll send you a link.

I didn’t get my tickets email.

Check your spam or promotions folder first, and search for “Eventixo”. Make sure you typed your email address correctly at checkout.

You can always get your tickets again with Find my tickets. If that doesn’t work, contact us and we’ll help.

Can I add my tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?

Yes. Open your ticket from your email or your account and tap “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”. The QR code in your wallet is the same one scanned at the door.

Can I send a ticket to a friend?

Yes, use “Send to a friend” on the ticket. Enter their name and email, and the ticket is reissued in their name and emailed to them. It’s free, and your copy of that ticket stops working.

Why do I need to name my tickets?

Some organisers use named tickets to stop touting and keep tickets with real fans. Each ticket carries the holder’s name, and door staff may ask for photo ID that matches it.

Can I change the name on a ticket?

If the ticket is going to someone else, use “Send to a friend”, it’s reissued in their name. If your own name is misspelt, open your order and edit the holder’s name, or contact us if the option isn’t available for that event.

Can I resell my tickets?

No, tickets sold through Eventixo can’t be resold. If you can’t go, you can send your ticket to a friend, or check the event’s refund policy.

Refunds & changes

How do refunds work?

Each event has its own refund policy, set by the organiser and shown before you pay: no refunds, refunds until a set number of days before the event, or refunds until the event starts. The policy also says whether the booking fee is refunded.

If refunds are allowed, request one from your order page. The money goes back to the card or account you paid with.

The event was cancelled. What happens?

You get a full refund, including the booking fee, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll email you when it’s on its way.

The event was postponed. Are my tickets still valid?

Yes, your tickets stay valid for the new date. The organiser will email you the new date and tell you about any refund option if you can’t make it.

Don’t I have 14 days to cancel online purchases?

Not for event tickets. Under EU consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal doesn’t apply to leisure events on a specific date. The event’s own refund policy applies instead.

Your account

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in page, choose “Forgot password?” and enter your email. We’ll send you a link to set a new one.

Why can’t I see a ticket in my account?

Your account shows orders placed with the same email address. If you bought with a different email, use Find my tickets with that address.

Where are my saved events?

Events you save with the heart are kept in your browser on this device, so they don’t follow you to another phone or computer.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your account settings and choose “Delete account”, or email [email protected] from your account’s email address. Your tickets for upcoming events stay valid, you can still find them with the link in your email.

Events & entry

What do I need to bring to the event?

Your ticket’s QR code, on your phone or printed. If the event uses named tickets or has an age limit, bring photo ID too.

Who do I contact about an event?

The event’s organiser, for questions about timings, access, age limits, refunds or anything happening on the day. Their contact details are on the event page and on your ticket and order page.

Is the venue accessible?

Look for access information on the event page, or ask the organiser about step-free access, wheelchair spaces and companion tickets. On seated events, the seat list shows which seats have step-free access.

For organisers

How do I start selling tickets with Eventixo?

Tell us a little about your events and we’ll set up a demo. We’ll help you create your first event and connect your payment account.

When do I get paid?

Payments go straight into your own Viva Wallet or Stripe account, so you receive your money on that provider’s normal payout schedule.

Can I scan tickets at the door?

Yes. The Eventixo scanner app turns phones into door scanners, checks every ticket against the guest list and shows clear accept or refuse results for your door staff.

A question about a specific event?

Refunds, changes and access for an event are handled by its organiser. Their contact details are on your ticket and order page.
